Meningitis B Vaccination Information
Due to the recent press coverage we are getting a lot of calls enquiring about the availability of this vaccination.
Due to contractual arrangements in Primary Care, we cannot charge patients directly for private services and must therefore suggest that you contact private providers such as travel clinics or independent GP's.
We are unable to make specific recommendations, however services are available in Salisbury which can be found using a google search.
Should you go ahead with private vaccinations, please let us know in order to keep your child's medical record up to date

Timing of Appointments
You will receive a reminder letter from Child Health Service when your childs immunisations are due. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment.
- Please arrive on the correct day and at the correct time slot for your appointment.
- Please do not arrive early or on a different day.
- Try to bring only the relevant child, when possible.
- Bring your appointment letter and Child Health Record to your appointment.
If anyone other than you, as the parent, is bringing your child, they must have signed consent for the immunisation from you as the parent or guardian.
If you are unable to attend your appointment please ring the surgery to cancel and rebook.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding your child’s immunisations, please
discuss these with your Health Visitor prior to your appointment day.
In the event of an emergency or other extenuating circumstances, the clinic may be cancelled without notice. If this occurs we will offer alternative appointments.
For everybody’s comfort and safety, we would be grateful if you would leave the surgery following your child’s immunisation as space is extremely limited.
