We are currently looking for volunteers (gatekeepers) to guide our patients arriving at the surgery and dispensary.

This role will be outside the front doors of the Fordingbridge Surgery and will consist of two or three, two or two and a half  hour shifts per week on a rota basis. You may be asked to swap or cover a shift of another volunteer that cannot commit to a shift due to a holiday or an appointment etc.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with the queue for our 'flu clinics by guiding patients to where they will have their vaccination and making sure that the one metre plus system is adhered to.

You do not have to be a patient to volunteer to be a 'gatekeeper'. You do need to be an adult and aware that we are working through the Covid-19 pandemic so regular washing of hands is imperative and you may wish to wear a face covering.

Patients are asked to wear a face covering when attending the surgery.

For more information and if you feel that this role may suit you or somebody you may know, please email fofs.ppg@nhs.net or call Kelly on 01425 208195.
