As you are aware the Omicron Variant continues to be prevalent in our area affecting patients and the staff of the Surgery and their families.

It is important that you continue to put your health first so please continue to seek urgent medical help when you need it.

If you need routine care and your condition is stable, we may need ask you to wait longer than usual to arrange an appointment.

We realise that it is frustrating to have to wait longer than usual for routine appointments and reviews, but we ask for your patience and understanding when contacting the surgery.

Before contacting the practice, please do consider self-help and pharmacy options such as these

Please continue to wear a mask in healthcare settings following the current National Guidance on Healthcare settings

 We have patients who are more vulnerable as well as patients who may be more likely to be carrying Covid on the site.

 

 

Covid-19 Vaccines

We will contact all adults whan your vaccinations are due. Alternatively you can contact the National Booking Service via www.nhs.uk or ring 119

We are not delivering child covid vaccines to under 16 years old.  These will be provided by the School Nursing Services or you can book via the National Booking Service.

If you are overdue your vaccination or have changed your mind and now wish to take up a vaccine please do contact the surgery

We do not have access to the national Covid-19 booster booking system

Other services and Self Referral

There are a range of services available to our patients which can be accessed without having to come to the surgery.
These include:
  • Pharmacy for minor illness and medication advice
  • Appointments + service at Ringwood and Lymington- there are GP, nurse practitioner, nurse, mental health practitioner and physiotherapy appointments available. Using these services helps free up appointments here at the surgery for our more vulnerable patients who cannot travel
  • Urgent treatment centre at Lymington- walk in service for urgent medical issues open from 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
  • You can self refer yourself to some services:

    Counselling via Italk

    Eye Clinics eye problems, both Urgent and Minor, including conjunctivitis contact the Specialist Optician service.

    Audiology self referral can be utilised for hearing tests in the over 50s and provision of hearing aids via your local Scrivens and Specsavers
